Résumé de l’article : The article examines abandoned railway corridors in Beirut, Paris, and Queens, exploring how they are continuously redefined through everyday appropriations, collective action, and competing visions for their future. Using a multi-scalar framework and a walking-based method, the study reveals that these spaces exist in a condition of active suspension, shifting the focus from ultimate transformation to ongoing processes of negotiation.
